Pros

Decent health care that is affordable thanks to the union. Union jobs means job protection. If you can pass a drug test and act pleasant in the interview, they are likely to hire you.

Cons

Managers go out of their way to screw you over. They break the union contract at every turn. BE ON YOUR TOES! KNOW YOUR RIGHTS! Condescending attitude in management. Very few managers have spent longer than a week doing the job you do. They are out of touch with the demands of every department and they set unattainable goals. Managers will lie right to your face, screw you over, and look for excuses to fire you. They know that they will not be held accountable for their behavior by their boss. Their job is secure. If you decide to work here, make sure you join the union. You will NEED it.

Pros

• Generally work with fantastic people. • Work is not difficult, and time flies when busy. • My bosses collaborated with me to create a schedule that worked, as I often had other commitments. • Overall, a pleasant work experience most days. Get good at what you do and you'll do fine.

Cons

• Some of the senior management was less friendly than others - as to be expected. • Days were very volatile; some could be extremely easy, and others could be a nightmare. • Scheduling was kept rather limited; although I was able to get the hours I wanted, often times management would look to cut hours from departments whenever possible, leaving less support.
