Pros

If you work in a good studio, you will have great coworkers and a manager to lean on and work with. Also, the kids can be great and knowing that you have helped memories come alive can be VERY satisfactory.

Cons

The pay is so-so. It's not bad to start out, but the raises are a joke and happen only once a year. Photographers are the ones making the money and should be paid for the work they do. Also, the company has HIGH expectations. The 10 minute photography sessions can be impossible if the group is too large or if the people want alot. Small children and babies may not just do as you want and a that tiny bit of time simply makes taking your time impossible. The coupons do not help the saler get the money the company wants. I know Lifetouch wants to bring people in, but simple changes tothe coupons could make this possible. I know people who have walked in, had pictures taken and just gotten a free sheet.

Pros

Great Sales Team. Remote based position.

Cons

-Losing out to competitors has become acceptable or business as usual. -Management has become out of touch with what is going on in the field. -Outdated Photography equipment. -There is constant turnover with photographers. Difficult to keep good people when they are not paid well & have no structure. -Company is very reactionary. Making cuts seems to always be their answer to solve low profits.
