Pros
The best aspect of working at Mercy has been the coworkers. Most everyone works together to care for patients within the challenging environment created by administration.
Cons
Mercy administration is the worst aspect of the company, but this affects all aspects of your job. Priorities are productivity and cost savings (based on their models), and not patient care. The staffing levels are almost dangerously low in every department, and the compensation they offer is as low as possible. It is very difficult to attract good talent, and even harder to keep good coworkers after they acquire experience.
