Pros

- Sales and Marketing work well together: Shadowing, mentoring, feedback sessions, and some other training provided - Good bond between Sales and Applications Engineering through good PR practices and interactions - Engineering Culture is positive & creative

Cons

- "The World is Flat": Public Information - All Manufacturing Operations jobs moved overseas to existing Manufacturing; as many corporations do, until that economy requests equal benefits. - The same happened in Costa Rica; see article 'National Instruments expands operations in Costa Rica, announces Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency' - Advice: Keep your resume up to date, be sure to note your accomplishments/awards & the dates, note any promotions, and put yourself on LinkedIn and make connections with your customers, so that you and they can recommend one another when needed. Hope that this helps.
