      Pros

      They have the basic benefits. It's a really good job if you are trying to get into the corporate world or straight out of college.

      Cons

      Pay and pay raises are low. Work life balance is not flexible. Some managers are great others are not. The health insurance is really expensive. Their 401K match is only 4%. They keep a lean structure, so people will work a lot more hours. Openings stay open for a long time because the company is unwilling to pay more for quality employees. They're not as transparent as they claim to be.

      Our compensation and benefits package are evaluated and guided by a set of company principles that are regularly reviewed. Specifically, as part of our evaluation process our pay and salary ranges are informed and adjusted based on industry standards, general pay practices, and geography. Our benefits package is adjusted annually based on team member feedback and industry standards. For example, we heard from our team members that they valued an employee stock purchase plan and at the beginning of 2022 we rolled out this benefit. This year, the company also made every effort to absorb additional benefits costs with nominal increases passed on to our team members. We also encourage all our managers to be flexible and open to discussing and accommodating team members with the flexibility they need to ensure there is no burnout.       Pros

      Your peers. I have a great group of co-workers though multiple have left because of HORRIBLE direct management in the AM department.

      Cons

      Low hourly pay. Tricky incentives. Shark like environment. Terrible and I mean TERRIBLE managers. Favoritism runs rampant at this place and goes unchecked. Lazy, incompetent department manager makes up his own rules (you MUST use your break time to go the bathroom) which goes endorsed by his superiors and HR. Reward people who live at that place and work insane OT hours because of the low pay, but crap on people working the normal amount of hours because you’re based on the “average”. Truly one of the worst management staffs I have ever seen coupled with lackadaisical training and one of the dumbest rules I’ve ever heard of…you must be at One Main for ONE ENTIRE YEAR before you can transfer out of the department or move up. Trust me when I say run as far away as you can from this place.
