Pros

Technology stack is cutting edge and the people are generally pretty smart and hard working. The culture is open and inclusive. Pretty great place to work for engineers.

Cons

Reorganizations happen frequently so you need to be able to deal with change well. Hard to get on important projects that provide impactful work. Decisions are made slowly and communication from middle management is not great.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We value your feedback because it helps us improve, and we are on a continuous journey to create the best possible environment for our employees. We have just passed our one year mark as an independent company from eBay, and we did have several reorganizations during this past year as the company worked through the impacts of the split. From my perspective of the great parts about PayPal is that we are never satisfied with the status quo. We will always strive to improve, and this means we will always be innovating and changing (not necessarily reorganizing!). We are also very focused on improving communications throughout the company. I personally have seen many positive changes in this area over the past months and hope that you have started to feel the changes too.

Pros

Great company! My managers and directors care about who I am as a person. They want you to succeed and be efficient at the role so you have the tools and support to foster that growth.

Cons

Big company energy. Can be draining month after month. Sales as a whole can be tiring but it’s very rewarding when you get lucky, put in the hard work and hustle!

Pros

Great people but that may be team dependent.

Cons

Culture is very team dependent. Slow to build things but that's probably to downside to corporate... it all depends on the team that you're on
