Pros

Great team (scrum), great people, great atmosphere. Working with the newest and the most innovative technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, delivering to China. So many technologies and opportunities to learn, new concepts and projects are brought up all the time. Got to work with so much programming languages - Go, Node.js, JS, Java, Python, Groovi and I can keep going.. Awesome conditions regarding salary, holiday gifts, bonuses, etc.

Cons

A lot of the developers are more than a decade in the company, and almost everybody (except students) are at least a few years (~5, 8 years), so some of the developers are not the most professional/driven out there. In addition, this causes a less young/fun/whatever vibe in the office. Some people might see this as a plus too - the company is very stable and its a good place of work to stay a life time. And! no real QA. That's a big con.

Pros

I really liked my role at SAP. After being a cloud Customer Success Manager supporting strategic clients for several years, I moved into a group doing digital customer outreach including producing newsletters, release enablement, webcasts, documentation, event registrations, etc. Salary and bonuses were good, no complaints there.

Cons

No real cons for the job that I was in, except that our group was eliminated by the corporate restructuring and reduction in workforce in North America in 2025. I would have loved to stay but unfortunately we probably showed up on a restructuring spreadsheet somewhere and it was determined that our services were no longer needed. We off-boarded most of our work to other existing employees (who already had full time jobs), which felt unfair to them, but that is how it shook out.
