Pros
Free lunch is still a good perk. Beautiful and well-maintained campus. Some smart and helpful colleagues (though many are leaving).
Cons
SAP used to be known for work-life balance and a great culture. That’s completely changed. Managers now expect employees to work late into the night regularly. Unrealistic deadlines with no regard for personal time or burnout. Higher management is toxic, shows zero empathy, and promotes a fear-driven environment. Promotions are highly biased — friends of managers get the spotlight, better projects, and quick promotions, while others are ignored regardless of effort or performance.
