Pros

Being able to work around many different cosmetic brands (and take home samples) Seeing a smile on a customers face when they receive a service and love the way they look.

Cons

You can't access your schedule online No option of paper checks Management is very unprofessional Everyone has to do everything No janitorial service to clean the restrooms and the store Communication from management is very poor

- unstable hours / unstable income - part-time employee classification has a wide weekly hourly gap (e.g., 15-29 weekly hours) and the availability expectation is that of a full-time (e.g., required to be open 4-5 a week, open to close) - minimal career growth if wanting to become full-time within the same store
