8yThanks so much for taking the time to post a comment. It is wonderful that you have seen that Shopify employees are ‘inspired to do their life’s work here’; this observation really reinforces our hiring goal to always place the best people in the right roles at the right time.
One of those things Shopify looks for when hiring is passion. If a candidate is passionate about what they do, and they are able to bring that passion and their ‘life’s work’ to Shopify, then everyone wins - both Shopify and the individual!
As for that minority who you see have developed an attitude of entitlement; let’s just hope they find their passion again rather than letting themselves be distracted by the perks, ‘cause in the long run the perks aren't what's really important.
