Pros
Health Insurance Fertility Benefits (well last year anyway) Wellness Allowance (not sure if it is there any more though) Whether as an advisor or as a lead, my peers were always amazing.
Cons
When I started in 2019, I felt like I had really landed on my feet, especially when changing my career. I was settled, happy, eager to try new things and never got bored. I was promoted with ease, got terrible training as a team lead but I was lucky that my peers were always on hand to help, give me advice until I was comfortable. In regards to the senior leads. Three were amazing *shout out to D’ON, AG, AC* Some not so amazing - Shout out to the wannabe influencer of slimming injectables. The summer of 2022 was where it all changed with the initial mass layoffs, the ones we were promised would be the end of it as they were all apparently done in on fell swoop to keep some shareholders happy. Insert the BPO’s. I swear, the majority of my day was spent QAing “frownies” to decipher if the issue was with one of my advisors or was it hangover from a previous ticket or follow up from an awful misleading BPO ticket. 99% of the time the advisor was not at fault. But that did not matter: Irish numbers were always apparently the worse. Nothing to do with our global hours of business at all 🙄 Then came the silent layoffs. So so many of them. And the way we were made do our yearly reviews from mid 2023 was awful, it was impossible to give somebody the highest mark “exceeds expectations” whereas we could fairly give this the year before.
