Pros
Coming from a smaller consulting firm, I was blown away just by the scope of everything: the breadth of services, the number of employees, the types of projects, the size/location of the office, the focus on technology and innovation, stuff we were only dreaming of at my former company. I really enjoyed my fellow team members and worked on some truly interesting projects. They were very flexible with remote work and had a decent benefits package.
Cons
There were some slaps in the face, most of which I noticed in the first few days: very high billable work requirements, RED TAPE, wasn't allowed to be an administrator in the GIS system like my former employer, the type of projects was different than what I understood during the hiring process. The Vitality program was supposed to make medical insurance cheaper but it sucked, everyone else seemed to love it. But I would have been fine with all of that but Iost out at leadership roulette. Very demanding manager, great at many things, but not at being a manager. Seemed to cherish pointing out flaws. Never satisfied. High expectations.
