Pros
Lots of people are promoted based on their 'WOW' factor (or butt kissing) rather than experience or knowledge, therefore most of management is clueless.
Cons
NO COHESION THROUGHOUT STORES. Very frustrating when transferring to a new store. Transferring to a new region makes you want to rip your hair out. Also, years of experience and knowledge really mean nothing.
