Pros

The benefits are competitive. The training is amazing and the company fosters continuous learning. Client interactions are often rewarding. Overall, TD hires excellent employees, who represent the culture of "comfortable banking" and the goal of being "the better bank". Great sense of a united team all serving the same objective. At the end of the day this position is a sales role, but what isn't? If you want to do well, excel in sales and customer satisfaction. The sky is the limit in terms of growth opportunities. This is the perfect introduction to a career in retail banking.

Cons

The wages are low and the stress levels can be high. The position is entry level, despite the comparatively high responsibility; sometimes clients will be condescending. The hours are great... for the clients! Think about it.. when is your TD branch not open? Well, those are your hours.
