Pros
People from the Legacy business made it an enjoyable work environment (as much as they could control) and want to do the right thing by the Company's shareholders.
Cons
HR processes of calibration and performance evaluations are purely "check" the box. The opportunities available have little to do with whether competencies/ skill sets exist but rather the people you know, ability to network and ability to maneuver the current politics of the newly combined global company. Clear, available career paths are lacking, and management is not consistently able to articulate or provide direction on how people can advance. Communication is nonexistent since the majority of the significant Company news is either heard through the media or grapevine. None of these encourage or maintain employee engagement.
