      They are expending which gives you the ability for advancement into management.

      Cons

      Many management hopefuls get into the brown nosing mode with managers' egos. Advancement is about stroking egos. Many managers do things because of ego and not because it works.

      pay was decent I guess

      Cons

      no promotions, no good management, a lot of people in positions that do absolutely nothing, very cliquey, constant checking in 1:1's, no growth in your career, favoritism, toxic environment.
