Pros

Great pay, bonus, RSR's, benefits fantastic and feeling of accomplishment each day.

Cons

Work every holiday, longer hours than they will ever mention in an interview, 12-14-16 hour days. The caliber of GM and AGM management has gone down hill due to the demands being so stressful. Smart and qualified people are passing it up and unqualified people with no people skills are filling the void. Respect for the individual is gone ,( please take it off the wall ) along with the long sold, "Open Door Policy". The guys will lie and cheat to hold you accountable just to pass the blame of their mistakes down hill. Very unethical. But some good ones remain, only a few, and those Dc's perform well. Management is being cut at DC just as with stores. high turnover in most places. watch what you apply for. Oh, and sometimes its very political.

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
