Pros

Very flexible scheduling Pretty good pay for retail Two 15 minute breaks + 1 hour lunch on a full shift Ability to move around to many different departments Coworkers are cool, and you get a 10% discount card

Cons

You become a slave of the big blue machine Every department gets short-staffed A LOT Very stressful for sales associates, and any form of management I would try to stay away from this job if I were anyone, unless you're going to college or can't find anything else and are very desperate. I always ask myself why I'm still working here, and it gives me headaches just thinking about it

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
