Pros

You can see and meet some interesting entertainers/acts. The on-air talent are top notch and professional.

Cons

The benefits were good, the pay not so much. The communication is seriously lacking. There is no such thing as professionalism here. If you fall out of favor for whatever reason with your manager, they'll try to fire you, rather than discuss the issue with you in person. I was sexually harassed by a client. I brought this up to my woman boss who asked me, "What did you say or do to bring this on?" I was shocked. Then it dawned on me that she was much beloved because she kept all of the dirty little secrets for management. She was "one of the guys". I went over her head and her boss assured me that I wouldn't have to interact with that client again. She would always make negative personal comments about my looks, "You look like you're going to cry." "What are you taking?" [I'm 23 years sober] "Did you sleep last night?" I heard those comments nearly every day when I felt fine. Many of the men on the sports media sales team (they referred to themselves as "baboons",) would look at inappropriate, videos while on the job, call each other homophobic names- and all of this was open and tolerated. I eventually, (thankfully) found another job which paid a decent wage and had a culture of professionalism.

Pros

The team is very straightforward and helpful and they are willing to give you whatever tools necesary to win. One of the best teams I have ever worked with to be honestly.

Cons

Not many but you need to be flexible with hours as this is production work but that is industry standard.

Pros

Vast Resources available, biggest player in radio, multiple opportunities for growth, commissions and bonuses among the best out there

Cons

Very minimal base salary for sales positions, surprisingly low for national account executives. Moving goal posts all the time as well on performance and there's usually a sense of angst wondering if middle management positions will get eliminated at any time
