    I worked at FXI full-time

    Pros

Paid well, good benefits, good hours

    Cons

Poor leadership or lack thereof. Unprofessional and political. Management gets bullied by hourly personnel. Toxic environment for young professionals, who are requested to perform demeaning tasks/work. New professionals with new ideas are not well-received and are treated very poorly. Deliberate/careless safety violations go unaddressed. Only recommended for workers who do not care to develop themselves in their professions.

    Advice to Management

Hold all employees to the same occupational standards. Administer discipline when necessary and gain control of your departments. Stop allowing the wrong people to have so much power/leverage

I worked at FXI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits were good is vacation, sick days, Personal Time.

    Cons

Everything. Very toxic environment. Management is a close minded group that doesn't believe they can do wrong or other members of management could either. Everyone talks down to each other and are very two faced.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees and dont threaded to fire someone if they bring up ethical issues.

I have been working at FXI full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Not a hard job in this factory. Get alot of overtime when busy. Hourly rates are good if you are on the first tier.

    Cons

Health insurance is very expensive and not good insurance at all. Planning and scheduling departments are horrible and makes huge mistakes without discipline

    Advice to Management

    Listen more to employee feedback

    Advice to Management

Talk to your employees ...at least try to be reasonable with some requests
Take time to study your organization ...an undercover boss for a week would yield surprising results

    I worked at FXI full-time

    Pros

People at the bottom are working hard and want to believe in change.

    Cons

Toxic atmosphere. A few people, given too much authority, have poisoned the well. Nothing get's done because leadership is unlikable and hasn't earned the respect of those below. Constant efforts to improve morale continue to be unsuccessful due to constant disrespect of employees. Continued loss of quality staff, can't hire people fast enough to fill in the gaps. You are lucky to last a year.

    Advice to Management

You know who's poisoning the well, you're just going to keep loosing quality employees until it's expunged. If you want to turn things around, like you've been trying to do, you've got to bite the bullet.

    Pros

Great company with good benefits. Employees are helpful, fun loving and easy going. Average working years of experience is more than other private companies.

    Cons

Employees who are working with the company for so many years, are taking things for granted. They need to adapt new technologies, new culture and ethics.

I worked at FXI full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Weekly checks are good, nice co-workers, and the immediate supervisors are good people.

    Cons

The pay is low, the overtime is issued with little warning, the health insurance premiums are expensive. Raises are very small, if at all, and there are no bonuses. The morale is low, and a lot of the employees who have a ton of seniority hate their jobs making it tough to maintain a positive attitude. The powers that be seem to be more interested in pinching pennies, and patting themselves on the back rather than making the necessary investments to have a great factory. This factory is disorganised at best. HR has no idea what is going on on the floor. Maybe not their fault, but HR should know what time first shift starts their workday.

    Advice to Management

Invest money into your two most valuable resources. Your employees and your machines. Striving to be a world class organization is great, but the world class organizations attract the talent to maintain that standard. Thoroughly go through your job grades, and give the raises where necessary. A factory that small should not be a revolving door of employees.
