      Free snacks to stress eat when your workload exponentially exceeds what you're actually being paid to do

      Downtown parking, having it shoved in your face just how much the company is making with the knowledge your benefits have just been cut, a ridiculous business plan that results in hard silos and zero transparency between departments outside of KPIs dutifully massaged by department heads to make it seem like everything is working well, short sighted decisions made based on... well, who knows really - that severely hamper day to day operations and result in extra out of scope work being slapped on to whomever they believe can handle it moving forward, a perpetual carrot on a stick approach to coaxing employees to take on responsibilities far outside of their pay grade and position, sharing of personal medical information to other employees, dishonesty about their products and their availability.

While we cannot comment on specific personnel changes, we take the concerns you raised seriously, especially those related to leadership and communication. Over the past year, we have made significant efforts to improve internal communication, and foster a culture of transparency and trust. We understand that in the past, there was a disconnect between leadership and some of the other teams in the company, and we’re actively working to bridge that gap. Regarding compensation and bonuses, we introduced a company-wide bonus program to provide additional compensation for everyone. However, we recognize that our communication around this could have been clearer, and the lack of complete information eroded some trust. We sincerely apologize for this. We have made progress in how we communicate important decisions, and continue to work on improving this further. We deeply regret that your experience with us did not reflect the values we strive for, and we’re sincerely sorry for any distress or frustration it caused.       - good pay - good benefits - some great team members, who are greatly under appreciated by the company’s management

      Cons

      - leadership team leads with egos and will ignore data in favour of “gut feelings” - you only have to look at home many people in the company have been there under 2 years to make an assessment of how toxic the workplace culture is - project management is poor. Despite entirely too much time and effort from the company’s one and only project manager, projects often never make it to the finish line because leadership will change strategy on a whim and then blame employee failure - most employees are burnt out and belittled

First off, I want to say that I have investigated your claim that individuals in the company post “fake reviews”, and have found no evidence to support it. However, because it is a serious allegation, I would encourage you to reach out to me directly to discuss further. Regarding changing priorities, this is an outcome of how knowledge evolves as we work through projects. When we find product/market dynamics that we didn’t initially predict, we must quickly course-correct, which sometimes involves rework by different teams. This can be frustrating, especially when folks have invested considerable effort into their deliverables, but is an essential part of building a strong business. If we don’t course-correct at the right times, then we risk releasing products that won’t resonate with customers, and our business would start to decline. Having said this, it is feedback like yours that shows us that we haven’t done a good-enough job communicating why these changes are made. Since you wrote your review, we have made progress in this regard, are we are continuing to improve as we move forward.       Good pay and good benefits

      Cons

      They offer those pros so they feel entitled to owning you 24/7. No work life balance. And the managers are not nice or considerate.

We’re glad to hear you appreciated the pay and benefits, but it’s clear that the work-life balance and management culture fell short of your expectations during your time with us. It’s feedback like yours that provides us with a basis for improvement. Though I cannot speak to your specific circumstance, the majority of instances requiring overtime hours have historically been caused by supply chain disruptions, or periods of rapid growth. Since the writing of your review we have re-configured how our operations teams work together, which has resulted in better service levels for customers, greater tolerance for supply chain disruptions, and a significant reduction in overtime. Going forward we remain committed to making more improvements that create a healthier, more balanced workplace.
