I worked at Hitachi full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    “Unlimited” vacation (flexible schedule).

Decent health benefits and other perks.

The work can be quite interesting.

    Cons

Mass random firings with no warning. It is all about the bottom line, it does not matter if you add value.

Management in-fighting. You can be in one day and on the street the next.

Communication is quite poor. They have tons of town halls and fireside chats, but everything still feels fuzzy and out of focus. Information doesn’t flow down efficiently.

    Advice to Management

I have no advice to give.
