I have been working at IPRO full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Decent Salary
Positive activities to keep employees engaged and boost moral and teamwork
    Great holiday party

    Cons

IPRO supervisors have many people to manage/talent to scout, sometimes leads to a disconnect between an employee and his/her IPRO supervisor. Would be better if they had more staff to help.

    Advice to Management

More staff to better manage the team

I have been working at IPRO full-time

    Pros

    Management takes concern on employees

    Cons

Most jobs are through state contracts so there is always a chance that we can loose jobs

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work

I have been working at IPRO full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent benefits, opportunities to be involved with interesting work.

    Cons

Management is completely detached from the experience of "embedded" employees and offers little to no support unless they hear of a problem from DOH. There is no interest in investing long term in employees because the contracts are short term. Communication is terrible. They have quarterly Town Hall meetings but they're boring and the information shared could be transmitted in a memo and save everyone a couple of hours. Top management is making the big bucks including major bonuses, but raises are limited to 3% per year. And five sick days is a joke.

    Advice to Management

Stop taking your huge bonuses and reinvest some of that it your employees. It's not your company, it's a not for profit!!!!

    Pros

Flexible schedules make for better work life balance. get a day off every other week or shorten 5 day workweek to 4 days

    Cons

lack of investment in employees; no incentive for hard workers to make improvements

    Advice to Management

Improve employee benefits for young people and create incentive payments for those who go beyond thier jobs (below director level)

I worked at IPRO full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great employees. The flex schedule, which went away for the most part in the summer of 2014 was a huge bonus. My job was mostly stress-free.

    Cons

Contracts might not get renewed and you could lose your job. Raises were slashed to 1.5% maximum; raises based on your annual review. 45-50 points would be the 1.5% for an extraordinary employee. I think 40-44 was 1.25% and 30-39 was 1%. Why kill yourself for an extra 0.5% when just do your job and you'd get 1%?

    Promotions were rare, too.

    Advice to Management

Stop taking such huge bonuses and slide some of that money to the employees. You're a non-profit organization. Your tax records are public information. We could see the CEO getting $40,000 raises (from 403,000 to 445,000 in a year) a 10% raise, while we got a maximum of 1.5%.

I worked at IPRO full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I enjoyed and appreciated the Flexibility, benefits offered, health & environmentally conscience organization and overall compensation.

    Cons

Contract jobs end; if a new contract is not in place you end up with gaps in employment. Otherwise, IPRO was a great organization to work for and with.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work; there's always room for improvement!
