    Pros

Good pay, good benefits, caring environment

    Cons

Unexpected layoffs that bring a dimmed feeling

Too many meetings scheduled at lunch time... management has to learn to break away for the day, come back refreshed which will be beneficial to employees morale and company productivity

    Pros

Good benefits and a chance to learn and grow if you land in the right department.

    Cons

I think upper management needs to investigate the HR/recruiting department. There is a lot of dishonesty and underhanded activity going on that the the top executives are not aware of. Not even the executives over the HR/Recruiting departments know what's happening with employee favoritism, dishonest recruiting practices and the like. Some employees are fired for little of nothing, and others get away with all sorts of dishonest and deceitful behavior. They will fire a good employee and keep a horrible manager/supervisor who has garnered repeated complaints.

    Advice to Management

You need a management training program on how to deal with subordinates. Just because you can reach a financial goal or production quota does not mean you have the aptitude to deal with people in a diplomatic and fair way. Survey employees with the promise of no retaliation from their management. You might learn a lot.
