Pros

Decent pay, most people on the team were nice, really nice product, flexible work schedule as long as you got your work done and weren't traveling. Big name clients, looks good on a resume.

Cons

High work load, like high, slammed all the time. Working late and around the clock was praised. Managers don't have good idea of resource leveling and management. Leadership generally was out of touch. Furniture industry itself was quite unstable. Lots of layoffs and felt unstable like your job could be taken at anytime.

Pros

- Gained experience working with clients on system furniture projects. - Some colleagues were supportive and collaborative, tried to make the environment bearable. - Once a month lunch is provided to employees.

Cons

- Lack of psychological safety; concerns or feedback were often dismissed or met with defensiveness. - Management was inconsistent, unapproachable, and often used fear based tactics. - No clear growth path or mentorship - expectations shifted frequently, unrealistic expectations. - Favoritism and micromanagement created a toxic culture of distrust and isolation. - HR provided little support when issues were raised, and accountability was absent at the leadership level. If you value respect, boundaries, or mental health - look elsewhere. This isn't just a bad fit, it's unhealthy environment.
