I worked at Intelenex full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most of the work is done remotely. If you are a self-starter and motivated, you can teach yourself new technologies.

    Cons

Constantly switching benefit providers, mediocre benefits, lots of promises before joining but once you are employed there is no opportunity, no training, no mentorship, no interaction between employees unless they are on your project, always overworked with multiple clients, strong pressure to make billables every week, no sense of leadership, no knowledge sharing, no career growth or progression.

    Advice to Management

Lead by example. Be transparent and tell the truth to employees. Or if you can't tell the truth, don't flat out lie to them. Treat employees like people and not just billable bodies.

I worked at Intelenex full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free to work from any location - little over sight.

    Cons

    1. Back office is run by the a single person - who has another job.
    2. AFTER contracts are negotiated and signed with consultants, the company had to be reminded to pay Expenses and Invoices on a timely regularly. (Payment was as late as 90 days out).
    3. Management does not empower staff on the ground and is stretched to thin. Opportunities are lost and communications are in need of structure.

    Advice to Management

Hire a back office and a office manager.

I have been working at Intelenex full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great team, lots of opportunity to learn Fusion Applications, great pay

    Cons

Smaller company so the benefits aren't as good as a smaller company

    Advice to Management

    Better benefits would be good

I have been working at Intelenex full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great team and the company is really focused on up and coming technologies. They are the leader in Fusion Applications and give everyone the opportunity to get involved and learn. You can be working on Fusion HCM one day and Right Now the other. They are generous with training and make sure everyone's got something exciting to work on. The management team is really supportive and it feels like a family environment.

    Cons

Not many. Sometime the new technologies require you to really jump in and learn fast.

    Advice to Management

Keep being supportive. More holidays wouldn't hurt.

I have been working at Intelenex full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Intelenex has great work life balance, and offers a lot of autonomy. It is a well positioned firm in the Oracle marketplace, with strong practices in a number of areas including ERP, CRM, BI, and HCM. Consultants are encouraged to broaden their skillset in cross practice pursuits.

    Cons

Not 100% clear on the long term vision. Benefits are ok, but could be better. Back office can be slow to respond.

    Advice to Management

Shore up some of the minor issues in the back office, develop a long term vision and a shorter term plan for the next 5 years.

I have been working at Intelenex full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Never have I worked for a company that is so flexible when it comes to family and work balance. Which is a great philosophy. There is lots of room to grow for a lower level employee.

    Cons

I do not always agree with the holiday schedule. This year we got some insignificant holidays off, and in turn our clients got off some of the bigger ones. Which leads to unproductive days for Intelenex.
