I have been working at Mindshare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Mindhsare invests a lot in employee professional growth, by providing training and mentor programs. Recognizes employee successes and contributions, and is open to promotion discussions.

    Cons

Very low pay, the pay is definitely well below industry average.

I have been working at Mindshare full-time

    Pros

Mindshare brand is perceived as strong and they are part of a strong network.
Small pockets of greatness. Fully depends on the team you work on.

    Cons

Overly hostile individuals in senior roles.
There are many sub-brands within Mindshare that are constantly in pitch mode but do no real work. The teams that do have client work are under-staffed and over-worked.
Mindshare is unable to be agile and there is no formal training or process which is odd given the size.

    Advice to Management

Do not reward or allow a bully leadership style.
Have formal training for every level of employee.
Operate with a small shop mentality vs. "too big to fail" approach.
Promote a work/life balance for your employees
Get rid of people who work on nothing and just self-promote through politics.
Do away with the sub-groups and have one team

    Pros

It was nice to have many outings, vendors would often bring food to us, and there is a friendly environment between the staff.

    Pros

    Great positive environment, great people

    Cons

More of a project manager position, would have liked to have some training

    Advice to Management

Great company, should have all levels attend all on-board training not just associates to get a better foundation and hit the ground running

I worked at Mindshare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Mostly pleasant people on my team. Good location.

    Cons

Expected to work long hours for little pay. The tech provided by the company is an embarrassment (square computer screens and extremely small laptops). Takes no less than 2 months to get any new hardware from IT. The whole company got hacked because of bad infrastructure. Not at all an SEO position, more like providing web analytics to other departments and building excel graphs based on trends. Very little attention paid to Technical SEO.

    Advice to Management

Nothing bad to say about my former team. However, the CEO had an air of superiority which was heavily irritating. I'm not sure how you remain CEO after your entire company gets hacked and remained shut down for a week.
