    I worked at NAPA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    NAPA has wonderful benefits, more relaxed atmosphere, high quality parts in stock that the other parts stores don't have and working with knowledgeable people makes all the difference.

    Cons

    The only cons I can think of is NAPA is paperwork heavy and not caught up with current technology for inventory management.

    Advice to Management

    NAPA needs to get rid of the paper in favor of a more efficient computerized system to save time and headaches.

    I have been working at NAPA full-time

    Pros

    It's a great company to work for, salaries are compensated for the right person for each position, informational meetings up to date approach. NAPA is the company we work for, not upper management.

    Cons

    Poor district management style. The Mr. Know it all approach new to a district from another State, no open door policy at that level, not enough knowledge to answer co workers valid questions

    Advice to Management

    Get to know your employees in your district be that at any level. Have an open door policy and be very knowledgeable in the handbook procedures and policies of the company to be able to answer legitimate questions. Praise your employees get to know them don't hold the hammer down on them. Low morale is the biggest issue any company faces when management does not know how to manage.

    Set your own schedule as a manager. You knew what must be done to complete your job.

    Cons

    Always need to perform but that is what all companies pay you for.

    Be open to ideas from the employees.

    Raises are based more on training and less on how you perform your job.

    Change the compension policy to reward the employees more for the way they perform their job duties.
