This really hurts to see. We go out of our way to take care of our employees and routinely make decisions that benefit employees at great expense to the company. One example is for 3 years running we have absorbed the vast majority of heath care cost increases instead of passing them on to our employees. Another example is in 2013 when the government shutdown occurred we immediately extended 40 hours, then 80 hours of negative PTO to our employees, rather than making them take leave without pay as many companies did. Our small business was founded and is run by people who have been line employees all their lives and we make every decision with great care and concern for the impact on employees. I don't know what issue this review was based on, but I do wish we had a chance to address this while this person was still with the business, we can only solve issues we know about.

Pros

Former employees were a great group of people.

Cons

Morale is low. Very impersonal company with little visibility. Constant turnover. Lack of direction/Constant change in direction. Over-promising and under-delivering to both customers and employees. Bad management sets up a chain reaction of staff turnover and customer dissatisfaction. When employees get mistreated, they quit. As new people begin their learning curve, customer service deteriorates. When turnover reaches maximum overload, new employees are usually just thrown into their jobs with little or no training and customers start to leave and never come back.

As the founder & CEO of this company, its incredibly painful to read your review. At the same time, I very much appreciate your honest feedback and, I'm truly sorry that you did not feel appreciated. One of the main reasons I founded this company is so that employees at Navstar feel valued, appreciated and do not feel like just "a number" on a spreadsheet. As we are growing, I realize we are not perfect and, can make mistakes however, we are always doing our very best to improve. However, we cannot improve, if we do not know we are doing something poorly. We have routine surveys that go out to all our employees (for anonymous feedback) and, of course leaders in place to assist with any concerns. My door is always open to any employee that wants to vent and, or provide constructive feedback on how we can improve. Thank you again, for your honest feedback.
