Pros

Had its day. Used to be a big player in the industry, now woefully behind the times. Staff morale used to be better, need to see what is happening before their eyes.

Cons

Very political environment. Shift in attitude over the years, staff morale at rock bottom, no rewards/recognition, staff feel undervalued and are increasingly frustrated. Directorship outdated, varies dramatically across the board. Nobody able to make decisions.

Pros

Nice people, very relaxed atmosphere. They have a lovely office in Poole and some good equipment.

Cons

I asked them to match the offer from my new company and they couldn't because I'd be on more money than the managers. So I feel I had to leave because my managers weren't worth more. It's a shame, because I was making a difference and enjoying it. That work has now gone to waste. Because Netcall don't reward ambitious people, they leave. Nearly all of the managers have worked there for 10-20 years and they're very comfortable. They have no experience of anywhere else. To get a promotion, you'd need to wait for someone to die. They are a sales-driven company. They'd rather make a quick sale than a good product. They don't reward their good engineers.

Pros

Free parking, some nice people, enough work to build skills up

Cons

- No prospects, no chances to move up and never any pay rises without asking-to which the result will be a low increase. (people who had been there for years never seens a salery increase). - Shocking bonus may aswell not have one - No praise of jobs well done, only told if you do something wrong no matter how small, appraisals will only highlight the negatives of your work not the positives which lowers moral further - Not very understanding if you're poorly or unwell, more than once I came into work very unwell being afraid of losing your job if ill - Lots of unhappy staff means most convos you have are based around the overall negative experience making you not look forward to coming into work - Only people who would rate this company high would be the managers (most having been there 10-20 years and are very content) I enjoyed the first few onths but after I started to realise the cons and the short lived positives faded fast
