    Advice to Management

When an employee has a doctors note to extend time off; honor it due to the severity of the situation. It is understood the CEO needed an assistant but in no way could I have came in to work medically when this company let me go.

    Pros

    Can not think of one.

    Cons

    Optima Engineering Charlotte NC

I seldom write or participate in this kind of online survey but this has been the worst company I have ever worked for in Charlotte! They are unorganized, lack internal commutation and have a high disregard for new employees. Best advice, look elsewhere for better opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Start listening and more importantly, follow up and correct know problems in your organization now!

    Pros

Job security is rock solid at optima. Work hours are steady at 40 a week. Rarely need more. Friendly work environment with nice coworkers.

    Cons

job security is great because nobody leaves which means very slow growth. Somebody has to basically die or retire to be promoted. Very low pay for the industry.

    Advice to Management

Gotta update antiquated claims system at some point. Leaving money on the table with lack of analytics due to this system.
