I have been working at OutSystems full-time (More than a year)
Pros
Haven't had a job I enjoyed this much in a very long time. OutSystems has a tremendous product, effective leadership, and smart people all around driven to make a difference.
Cons
Not enough time to do all the things I want to do.
Advice to Management
Keep asking how we can improve.

I worked at OutSystems full-time (Less than a year)
Pros
I really enjoyed my colleagues and they have great benefits
Cons
I joined because the culture endorsed outspoken professionals. They encouraged people to ask 'Why' but yet when you do so, they overrule it. Management sees their way and nobody else's. I quickly realized I was an executor vs. a strategist when my boss told me what to do on a regular basis. She clearly wanted no other opinions and for her team to do things her way. In addition she stated she had the management team 'wrapped around her finger.'
Advice to Management
Don't think your ideas are the be all, end all. Acknowledge the skills of your employees - you hired them after-all. And if you want to recruit a team of people who challenge the status quo and ask why, it will never work if you don't take action or even acknowledge their 'why' is valid.

Pros
Great work life balance, great people and always trying to do what's best for the customer
Cons
US presence is still growing, so can feel a little disconnected from the Portuguese home base at times
Advice to Management
Keep up the great work, no complaints so far

I worked at OutSystems full-time (More than 3 years)
Pros
After you leave any job afterwards will seem like a dream.
Cons
A puppet show, managed by a Portuguese engineer ceo who believes he knows everything about how to run a company. Did a good job when it was a start up, now he is over his head and in a panic. CRO makes Milton Waddams from office space look like a genius. Net net is this is a culture of there is only one way to do things and if you don’t follow the recipe you are not competent.
Advice to Management
Goldman s and KkR should take a hard look at how this executive staff is running the show, audit some sales cycles and ask the C team to articulate the the plan for growth before the money plays a really long game of hide and seek with them.

I have been working at OutSystems full-time (More than a year)
Pros
I have been with the company for nearly 2 years and it's been a very rewarding experience and a great team. OutSystems is far from perfect, as most rapidly growing software companies are... but the mix of culture/team/tech/total addressable market is very compelling here.
- Customers and partners love the technology
- The culture is unqiue and very positive. The Small Book is legit and followed every day.
- The market opportunity is 2nd to none.
- The team is fill of passionate individuals throughout the company.
Cons
- Growing pains can get frustrating at times, but not unlike any other fast growing tech company.
- Global brand awareness (especially in the USA) could use a shot in the arm.

Pros
Great work/life balance. Really great culture that promotes accountability, creativity and personal/professional growth. If you succeed, you'll most definitely be rewarded and invested in with regards to a clear career path. Flexible work schedule, ability to work from home, and great people.
Cons
Nothing, just the usual growing pains of a "start-up" with sales in the US being a huge focus in the past few years.
Advice to Management
While growing, continue to ensure that the culture stays the way that it is--this is why people want to be a part of this company and ultimately stay here.
