Pros

Lovely office that is dog friendly

Cons

- Inept exec team that has made multiple catastrophic decisions that have results in recent layoffs - Recently moved a studio to their Austin office and handled it in the most chaotic, distasteful way imaginable - Demand pixar quality art for a mobile game which is only an epic waste of resources and time - The CEO came in last year demanding that the flagship product launch a very specific feature nearly a year ago. It launched and cost millions of dollars. That epic mistake has never been acknowledged and is rarely discussed. - Insane amount of politics that color every decision made - Complete lack of technical acumen and proficiency - Moral and culture is a nightmare

Pros

Good people, very talented group.

Cons

Too many politics, Upper management has been changing directions on a dime. The team I was on was the most improved over the last quarter, lots of positive internal feedback. Then without notice shipped all of our jobs to Hong Kong , a division of the company that was failing. Put a lot of talented people in dire needs. They were fair with severance , but could have been handled much better. Fired a lot of people who were in the trenches working their butts off. Where other management, still there, just BS'd their way to staying and hired talented people to ride coat tales on. They forced the heart of the creative department out of the company, and since then the culture has really changed.

Pros

Dog friendly. Least challenging job you’ll ever have. Great starter job. Unlimited PTO. Health insurance. Free snacks.

Cons

Executive team are hoteliers without technology experience who insist on micromanaging. CEO has an obsession with loyalty and it made me very uncomfortable. To succeed here you have to be a yes-person. Don’t question anything if you aren’t a family member. Three big rounds of layoffs in one year. Very old technology means everything breaks regularly. No effort to improve because there’s extreme inexperience at the top. Some employees are allowed to take excessive vacations while others are never able to leave. Nepotism is a real issue at this company. CEO hires his family and hotelier friends into major roles even if they don’t have experience. Beware of positive reviews without any cons, they might be fakes. Read the negative reviews to get a good idea of what it‘s like to work here.
