    Cons

A bit of internal turnover as of late, but, that is to be expected after a year like 2020.

    Pros

Dedicated and hard working employees who really care about their clients.

    Cons

Short term vision. Lack of leadership from Board. Still waiting for Board to hire permanent CEO.All these factor are causing a moral issues and employees feel they are being taken advantage of. All bonuses, merit increases, 401K match were all taken away from employees with no communication on when they will be returned.

    Pros

Working with smart passionate people and clients who are advancing noble missions, good benefits, the opportunity to work on big, company-wide projects, no emails on the weekend.

    Cons

COVID hit some business units harder than others, Zoom calls are fatiguing but that's just the world right now. I miss seeing coworkers in-person and going in the office.

I have been working at Personify full-time

    Pros

-There’s unlimited PTO, but they’re very vague on what that means. -They’re letting us work from home until the end of the year due to COVID which I appreciate. -Most of the people here are very nice.

    Cons

-Raises (if any) are very low. Company does not give much incentive to go above and beyond. -If you’re in a role where you’re under time tracking you will feel like just a number. All they care about is “billable time” and not the quality of work you do to benefit clients & company. -Morale has gone down the drain and the company has done nothing to improve it. -Executives are very out of touch with employees. - Not much room to grow depending on your role.

I have been working at Personify full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The individual people are amazing and work very hard. There are some senior leaders and executives who seem to want to make effective change.

    Cons

The board has had an open CEO position for 8 months. It seems suspicious at this point and we don’t have a clear business direction. Monthly biz meetings paint a prettier picture with plans of what is to come but we have not seen that come to fruition. Morale among all departments is so low. Promises were made to get started with a DEI consultant and there has been absolutely no urgency from senior leadership. I believe that attitude is driven by the Pamlico board and that executive leaders are held hostage by what they want. Our salaries have been cut between 10-20% and many have had to do work on a consistent and unsustainable basis for months that is out side of our roles. There seems to be no end in sight.

Thank you for your candid feedback. Transparency and communication are so important, especially right now, and I appreciate you sharing your experience. There is uncertainty in our markets caused by COVID-19 and we are not immune from the impact. While there are monthly all hands and functional business meetings to ensure that our employees are connected across the organization, I want to reaffirm that we are committed to providing space for updates, dialog and discussions. We are also keen to find the right leader for our company and conducting a search that includes a diverse and representative candidate pool. And we are committed to creating an environment that is diverse, inclusive and equitable at all levels and across teams. If you are interested, I would encourage you to join the DEI taskforce to help us move towards this goal. Please let me know if you have additional thoughts. Thank you, Norbert Orth, Interim CEO

    I worked at Personify full-time

    Pros

Good coworkers who don't deserve to be so underpaid and unsupported

    Cons

Do not expect change without changing out devious leadership! Those at the top of the company executives and board are set in their ways and waste employees time with all hands meetings. Meetings are hosted to receive employee feedback and improvements do not gain traction once shared. They reject structural issues across departments and make poor decisions in private. The company focuses too much on reputation in its marketing to cover up poor decision making.

I have been working at Personify full-time for more than a year

    Pros

None anymore, the culture and morale have taken its final blow.

    Cons

While the CEO and executives are still holding onto 10%, 20% of pay since April.. nothing has changed in the current pipeline. It's a hostage situation as they know that they can siphon money out of our paychecks by calling it a "COVID precaution". No information on restoring salaries in the near future and people are jumping ship left right and center. Only ones staying either can't find new work or don't want to. Or maybe 1 or 2 people actually believe the executive team on account of Stockholm Syndrome. The culture, morale and vibe of this company is gone. Ruined. Run far away.

Can’t think of one nice thing to say

    Cons

Management was the worst group to work for. Very cut throat, everyone only cares for themselves and everyone is kept in the dark. You will never know what is going on at this company. Not worth the anxiety to work here.
