      Other site managers are helpful.

      Cons

      Upper management doesn't listen or care. You will get penalized for asking for the resources required to do the job. The company cares only about filling units and keeping units filled to get those tax credits. Providing safe, quality housing with even bare minimum upkeep and maintenance is not in the budget nor the desired outcome.

      • Looks promising during the interview process • Initial onboarding sounds supportive (but ends there)

      • Unrealistic workload for one person • No follow-through on promised training and support • Leadership blames rather than leads • Toxic management style from direct regional • High turnover—multiple property managers have walked off the job in a short span

      -salary met my needs -there were helpful employees within the company

      Cons

      -lack of communication from upper management - dishonesty within upper management -clique-y - disorganized -did not prepare me for my role nor were they helpful when I would come forward with questions
