I have been working at ProSciento full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Diverse staff, young spirit, science focus, teaching classes and journal clubs have been great. An environment to learn. I like their values. Very decent benefits and 401k.

    Cons

Workload is heavy and fast pace. I experienced communication issues. I’ve seen 2 layoffs cycles.

    Advice to Management

Workload fluctuations has been an issue, it needs to be balanced. Some systems are old fashioned. More team building activities.

I worked at ProSciento full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Most of the employees, low- and mid-level supervisors are honest, hard-working people

A good entry-level place to get experience in the clinical trials industry.

    Cons

1.- Upper management and director level employees seem to have no idea what their employees have to go through to get the work done.

2.- Upper management make decisions that make one doubt the ethical standards of the company.

3.- The performance of some departmental directors is dismal. Some are only interested in getting accolades from their superiors while at the same time neglecting and throwing their employees under the bus. Others are so far removed from the day to day operations of their departments that they are virtually irrelevant.

5.- After numerous rounds of layoffs, salary cuts, undelivered raises and bonuses, lack of upward mobility, unpredictable workload, hostile work environment, unresponsive departmental directors and lack of transparency; employee morale is dismal.

    Advice to Management

Retire, fire ineffectual departmental directors, listen to your employees
