Pros
  • Working with some really great people, in a role that truly offers me international experience (in 3 reviews)

Cons
  • There's no sick pay, yet it's a healthcare company that envisions improving healthcare worldwide (in 9 reviews)

  • Clock-in system (I can understand that in a company this size, there are people who would abuse the fact that no one is monitoring their working hours (in 9 reviews)

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

They have no prescence in NYC.

    Cons

Archane time wasting and needlessly repetitive field reporting system. Price quote method is not efficient. Poor training. Inexcusabe errors in travel planning by Antrim support staff. Lack of problem solving skills by field rep support staff. Attempts to report gross negligence by support staff are handled by coworkers and covered up with no resolution except blame the complainaner. Abuse of field staff's use of personal funds for business expenses. Your tenure here will not be highly regarded by the industry. Sale support staff has lots of excuses about why certain things don't get done on time. Cannot compete in major U.S. markets.

    Advice to Management

It is difficult to erase the years of complacency that has permeated your Antrim staff. The Antrim staff does not have the attitude of urgency that U.S. business demands. U.S. business is at "warp speed" and a support staff with a " I did not get to it" response, or negligent erros are inexcusable.

I worked at Randox Laboratories full-time

    Pros

Short term job consisting of mostly data entry for the micromanaging senior management if that is what you seek...

    Cons

Stay away if you are serious about your career or sales reputation. Constantly look over your shoulder for an out of the blue sack...
More emphasis on data entry than making sales calls.
NO commission or sales plans - or profit sharing, as it is called.
    Micromanagement heaven.
A form to fill out a form.
    Cheated at every turn.
    Inefficiency galore!
Make sure you are attractive and under 30 or "retirement" is just around the corner.

Bottom line -- stay far far away.

    Advice to Management

Take your employees seriously and look for ways to improve retention. You will never make it in some markets without listening to those that know that market. Value the employee and become efficient in your practices. It will go a long way in growing the business. You are settling. You have some great products but your paranoia is holding you back from exponentially better bottom lines.

I have been working at Randox Laboratories full-time

    Pros

Nice people to work with in my office.

    Cons

No sick pay! God help you if you get ill! Very unprofessional approach to business, illogical and weekly changes to processes.

This company has some fantastic people working for them but I can definitely see why people leave very quickly.

Some of the decisions made by management with approach to business development just do not make sense. Get people in roles where they know what they are doing, and LISTEN to them.

    Advice to Management

It would be wise to respect your staff, people do not feel valued and trusted as part of a team. That is why they move on, staff turnover is so high for a reason. The fact that you do not pay people when they are sick even when they are sent home by management is appalling.
