Pros

Salary was in benchmark range. Core local team had a good culture.

Cons

Management and HR processes were ineffective and manifested in a poor overall work culture. Suggestions on how to improve processes were generally ignored. HR processes are truly out of date (ie Bradford points used to “manage” sick leave) and only capable of reading off a script - overall staff turnover is frequent and for avoidable reasons. Hybrid working was not acceptable unless you were rostered on a Saturday shift - had team mates travelling over 2 hours during tube strikes because team management ordered them into the office. Any form of flexible working is not possible.

Pros

I’ve had a good experience overall with the company. The team is professional, supportive, and committed to delivering quality work. Communication is clear, the working environment is positive, and there’s a strong focus on customer/client satisfaction. It’s clear that the company values both its employees and the people it works with, which creates a trustworthy and productive atmosphere.

Cons

A few areas could be improved, particularly around communication and internal processes, which can sometimes feel slower or more complex than necessary. There may also be opportunities to strengthen cross-team collaboration, provide more clarity around priorities and expectations, and create more consistent pathways for career development and feedback. In busy periods, workloads can occasionally feel uneven, and updating certain systems or tools could help improve overall efficiency.
