    I worked at SEGA full-time

    Pros

Great people, great snacks, supportive culture. Open to people trying new things to encourage professional growth.

    Cons

Coordinating with overseas teams is always a little challenging. Sometimes it felt like corporate HQ did not care as much about our studio,

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to your employees and being friendly awesome people.

    I worked at SEGA

    Pros

Amazing co-workers, great health benefits, Amazing backlog of under-exploited IP, Great learning experience

    Cons

The company has a tendency to chase after brand new trends as opposed to refining older, proven experiences. Often hesitant to dip backwards into their massive IP catalog, unless the project is Sonic related. Underwent three massive company reorganizations in six years. Senior management, although well intended, often approved horrible projects that were prone to mismanagement and inexcusable delays.

    Advice to Management

If Gearbox ever comes knocking again, run. Please don't mess with Atlus too much. They have been running a tight, productive ship over the past 10 years. Don't rock the boat and allow them to assist you when possible. Sega of Japan, please allow SoE and SoA to make their own decisions based on their own markets and stop making them compete for resources
