RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Simplex full-time for less than a year
Pros
Lots of opportunities to work on what you want Everyone is extremely helpful and willing to answer your questions Your concerns are always addressed if you are willing to speak out Very little to no meetings at all. Perfect for developers who don't want to deal with bureaucracy and just work on their projects Many company sponsored events throughout the year Never have to take your work home as long as you do your work while you're at work
Cons
You're always allowed to take a break but it's difficult to do so when everyone around you is working so hard.

Doesn't RecommendNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Simplex full-time for more than a year
Pros
Free lunch and snacks, but the snacks are primarily some of the unhealthiest junk available.
Cons
For the most part this place feels cold and unfriendly. There's very little camaraderie. The flip-side to the free food is that you feel like you can never leave your desk for a proper break.

Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Simplex
Pros
Good place to get your feet wet. Begin looking for a new job when you accept this one.
Cons
No support for new traders. Held to unattainable standards with absurd profit splits, desk fees and minimum wage. No innovative trade strategies on the point-and-click side. I would highly suggest thinking twice about working here.

I worked at Simplex full-time for less than a year
Pros
Good introduction to options trading while getting paid minimum wage and high amounts of stress. It feels like your achieving, but the reality is much different I believe. Trading is a lot like Hollywood, lots of wannabes and very few make it. It's unfortunate because its a very interesting industry
Cons
Low pay, burn out, and odds are good unless you have the right combination of programming skills and treader mentality and also maturity you won't last in the industry.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI worked at Simplex full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
* You start becoming productive on day one. There is no drawn out onboarding process. You start writing and committing code right away. The transition is smooth yet definite. * The team has some really smart engineers who perform at a very high level. It is surprising how every developer does so many different things and does it well. * You get total ownership of your projects and you mostly have complete autonomy on how to go about it and there is always help if you need * Good production monitoring system
Cons
* The developer workflow tools/platform could use some upgrading * Emacs not installed on all machines by default (LOL, j/k)

Cons
Horrible Management. Jr developers are not given proper mentorship and direction. I once saw a traders punch through a monitor. As a co-worker, it demotivates you when you see stuff like this.
