Pros

Flexibility to accept or decline job sites as your personal schedule dictates.

Cons

You are blacklisted for defending yourself and your livelihood. After a minor clerical error resulted in my paycheck being shorted, I provided all documentation of the site visit to verify hours worked. Unable to accept responsibility for a simple mistake, the recruiter responded by telling me I was being removed from the project because of my "inability to read and poor attitude". I followed up with her to attempt to resolve the miscommunication amicably, she ignored all of my attempts. I spoke with the director of project recruitment who made the situation right and advised me that direct communication between recruiter and technician is best. I agreed, and still never heard back from the spineless recruiter.. This was following my 9 years of incident-free contract employment. The staff also accidentally CC'd me with a table of the associated expenses. I was paid $20/hr for a job that they billed the client $37/hr for. This is a great staffer to work for if you like receiving 54% payment for doing 100% of the work, otherwise, there are PLENTY of better staffing agencies out there. This was one of multiple times my requests for contact, payment correction, or employment verification were ignored. You're the definition of expendable here.

Pros

Plenty of jobs to work if you like Staffing 4 hour assignments. Recruiters are cool just mostly junior. They don't know how much better it is in the market.

Cons

Wow where do I start. Poor owners. Treat people very badly. Lack of morals and ethics and empathy. They randomly fire people that make too much money especially if you're not in their inner circle.

Pros

I'm sure there are some Pros but I can't think of any right now.

Cons

Even if you show up for work on time and present undeniable proof that you worked, if the client doesn't approve your hours, you will not get payment. The technician has no dispute process, there is no remedy, Signed documents, pictures of work performed, sworn statements from eye witnesses mean nothing.
