Pros

Cool peeps Work Remotely Making a difference in someone else's life

Cons

Nepotism driving promotions, not results. Gaslighting employees when feedback is delivered on lead distribution and trouble with sales tools. Discovered management had knowledge of individuals bypassing the lead distribution system for their own gain but turned a blind eye due to biased allegiance. Synthetic concern for every employee's well-being...this is only for the privalged.

Pros

Honest (but borderline foolish) management Supportive colleagues for new team members

Cons

I will share an instance from a not too distant past which will say it all. Recently while working on a time sensitive ask, I spoke to experienced team members. They have been with the company for quite a while now and knew well about the ins and outs from tech and business point of view. It was a good self-learning session while talking to them During the conversation, when they tried to resolve my concern, I learned that they required some higher level admin permission without which they would not be able to access the data. They said they had to get the permissions surf from their manager. The manager is actually new to the org, have l hence they understand little about engineering details. Just because the managers are senior by designation so called "admin" permissions even though they know very little about stuff otherwise. I learned, management recently created some weird security policies where they force their team to seek tech permission from their managers irrespective of who actually has more context/knowledge about the system. Ultimately, the problem at hand could not be resolved as the manager was not available at the time so the permissions could not be sorted Investors, if you are reading this, here are two words for you "Run away!" In short, Springboard seems of have morphed into an unpleasant, unwanted version of a corporate lowlife that no one wants to do anything with. There is almost no regard to common sense in several of such policies/processes and apparently when people question, response is "it is what it is!"

Pros

- People, especially ICs, in the company are great to work with. - Everyone works hard toward the mission. - Some cool benefits like the learning budget.

Cons

- Low pay compared to how much work you put in. - When things are going well, success is shared. When things are not going well, a lot of pointing fingers. - Not much career growth.
