I worked at Stonebridge full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great leadership at the management level, huge growth in 2014-2015 and widely successful becoming a world class consulting firm. Back office and support struggled at times, but have seen worse. Most of the dead weight and naysayers have parted ways, recruiting and in house development will play a critical role once market picks back up.

Tremendous amount of diverse knowledge from almost every aspect of the O&G industry; from prospect to spud, or meter to cash Stonebridge has a solution or process that most organizations could benefit from. Some of the brightest minds from a technology perspective, often doing what others couldn't and making complex problems manageable.

Stonebridge was/is (difficult to build in down market) building the type of organization others will measure themselves against, it will just take longer than expected or wanted. President, Oklahoma MD's, and Houston & Tulsa BDMs keep on presenting the organization opportunities and success will follow.

    Cons

Not much.... Timing is key and market crash and having to cut and pass up top talent could hurt in short term.

Dallas and Denver were promising and time will tell if relationships and prospective market share will be capitalized on or lost to others.

    Advice to Management

Have fun and be thankful for the blessings.

I have been working at Stonebridge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

When oil prices were high and the O&G market was spending money, things seemed to be good. There has always been a lack a vision and clarity about "who we want to be when we grow up". Lots of solid talent, although many have left or been let go due to company outlook.

    Cons

President sends mixed signals and is a lot better in his mind then in reality. It's hard to focus when you are looking over your shoulder wondering if it could be your last day. Don't have the right people to deliver what we sell, the "fake it till you make" mentality has to go. It's hard to deliver when you lose or let go what seems like half of you company.

    Advice to Management

A change at the top is needed. The President is reckless and is literally running this company into the ground. If a change isn't made the entire company might not make it.

I have been working at Stonebridge full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great co-workers, constantly learning new tools/applications and even expanding my knowledge in new areas as it pertains to O&G. Stonebridge takes care of their employees and everyone is always willing to help when needed. I love being able to say that I was one of the original ten that helped morph the O&G Advisory team into what it is today.

    Cons

At times, it can be hard to get a unanimous decision from management, but once a clear decision has been made and a path has been carved out, it's all hands on deck. Benefits/Bonuses could be better, but I have been spoiled at my previous upstream/midstream companies that had excellent benefits and bonuses.

I have been working at Stonebridge full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Used to be a good company with expert level technologists and caring leadership team.

    Cons

The president of Stonebridge Consulting needs to go as he does not know one thing about effective leadership or consulting in general. All he has done is replaced good, knowledgeable consultants with his buddies who are highly unprofessional. This company no longer values good talent and is primarily focused on the revenue, which they cannot attain due to lack of customer satisfaction and low-level solution delivery to clients. BTW, massive layoffs have been the trend with slightest down-turn, therefore no job security for people that don't have in with the executive management.

    Advice to Management

Get a better president who knows how to lead and values good talent.
