I have been working at T-Systems full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Super smart engineers. Super secure design. Hybrid of IaaS and PaaS and SaaS which is ideal for many clients. Work environment is very professional. Some very smart project managers. You will be happy to work for this company.

    Cons

With cloud services the clients must actively manage security controls for how they access the information and services. There needs to be more awareness, education, straight-talk about this.

    Advice to Management

Top-heavy. If performance can't be measured against revenue generation/preservation then consider reduction or re-alignment of activities. Get lean. Managers that are rude need to be let go no matter how good they are because perception of performance is usually false and overall progress is diminished. Hire outside consultants to advise on strategy or structure.

    I worked at T-Systems full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Great Benefits and Vacation time.

    Cons

If you are not kissing butt or in the inner circle forget about it. Your efforts will never be appreciated or even noticed. They will only notice your errors and take disciplinary action for it.

    Advice to Management

Doesn't matter what advice we give nothing will change... Everyone is just a number and it's who you know and not how hard you work.

I have been working at T-Systems full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great vacation time, healthcare benefits and 401k.

    Cons

They are misleading. They over work you. Expect you to do the job of 3 people. They could care less about not having a family life. Forget about getting a proper training if you're a new employee. They ignore customer complaints until it's too late. There is a lack of leadership from management. I've seen employees leave and instead of hiring a replacement they like to tack on the responsibilities to an existing employee. The only way to move up in that company is all about who you know. Definitely not because of your hard work.

    Advice to Management

Leaving advice is a waste of time. It's not like they're really going to listen and actually turn things around. Sending out an email letting us know about lay offs in the next two years says it all.

I have been working at T-Systems full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Little overtime, decent pay, understanding on days off needed.

    Cons

No consistencies or thought out foresight on how to achieve mission goals. Everyone, particularly upper management, flies by the seat of their pants hoping they are doing the right thing, proving to not be equipped with the knowledge necessary for efficiencies.

    Advice to Management

Think before doing. Increase proactivity to decrease reactivity. Employees have lost their respect for upper management a long time ago for valid reasons. Remember, it starts at the top.
