Pros

Some of the people here are great to work with

Cons

Everyone else here is selfish, the accounting team does not want to do their job, unless it's entering one or two numbers and clicking a button. You are lucky to pay your invoices within a net term. Accounting has you make the payout, collect and inventory the invoices and reach out to customers regarding their payments. Warehouse is too busy smoking and drinking to really do much of anything. The guys are great guys, it is no fault outside of the CEO who constantly walks around berating them belittling them and everyone else in the company. Warehouse does not make what every other warehouse in the state makes and it's completely unsafe. You are told you are never good enough, the CEO is in charge of your promotions, your changes, so if you don't prove yourself to a man who doesn't pay attention to anyone outside of his investors good luck. If you are a female trying to work here, good luck unless you are of the asian look and culture. Most of our managers were FIRED and replaced with someone who was from China or whos family was with a high record of work work work slave slave slave. I watched managers get hired and fired within their first month. I have seen more turn over at this company than any company I have ever worked for. The stress of having to wake up and go to a company where the owner doesn't care that you don't make even half of what someone else in your position anywhere else in the country makes, with FOUR TIMES the work as them, and barely able to afford your living. loans to pay bills....but wait it's better. Do you need supplies? Buy them yourself not from the company money. Customer Service are 18 - 19 year olds who have no experience in the Industrial world and are selling machines that come from China which are labeled as already in the warehouse. Just look at Facebook.....like allll of their facebook. that should say more than you need to know. In any position here you will be yelled at, screamed at, belittled, told you are worthless and it's not just the customers. The cockroaches get more respect in this place than a human being.

Pros

The people are great and I have nothing to say about that. With that being said Toolots is in over its head big time. There are blatantly clear operational voids that are not being addressed. They are a “Tech Startup” and up until a couple months ago had no developers in the office. I write this as a warning but Toolots is a top heavy organization with no real captain.

Cons

Imagine being out on a ship in the middle of the ocean at the dead of night with a captain that has little ability to lead or motivate the crew to get home. Now imagine that same boat has a hole or in Toolots case many holes, but instead of asking for or taking help from your crew the captain starts throwing people overboard simply for trying new ideas. That is Toolots except before getting thrown overboard you will be publicly berated. In short Toolots is a Chinese company with a US office to show there Chinese investors. In reality they are using US companies to build their credibility to sell cheap and unreliable Chinese products into the United States.

Pros

The employees are great and you will definitely have a work "family."

Cons

first off the positive reviews here are done by people close to the CEO and do not actually reflect the current culture of this company. that being said... the CEO wants and demands loyalty despite poor leadership skills, publicly berating employees, and poor compensation for doing more than your job description requires. something that is also expected, but not really advertised. the board is all but nonexistent until they feel their agendas are not being tended to. most of the managers here are hardworking and want the best for the company and their departments, but there are a few who are simply flying under the radar to maintain a decent paycheck. the worst part of this company is the wasted potential. there are a lot of really amazing people here who would undoubtedly propel this company to greatness, but the CEO cannot get with the program and learn to value and trust his employees ultimately making Toolots a sinking ship. grab a life vest and jump now.
