Heathcare is expensive. 401k match is 25% up to 10% of eligible income per pay period. Two weeks PTO for most employees (goes up to a max of 4 weeks PTO once you've been with the company 10 years). No stock option program/employee stock participation program. (you can buy BLD stock in your 401k but no price incentive). Aging employee demographic- not the distinct lack of information on Glassdoor for an 8000+ employee company. Company is headquartered in Florida so salaries are depressed relative to elsewhere in the United States.

The senior leadership are out of touch with the local market. Furthermore, they state “run the branch like you own it” but they do not allow you the tools to do it. They also state that they are a “family” company but in reality only care about themselves. There is also an extreme amount of turn over due to poor leadership.
