I have been working at TrialPay full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Spa, Daycare, Casual Friday, Catering, nice coworkers, not much work but good payment

    Cons

You can never make customers happy, you are supposed to tell them they are violating the ToS

    Advice to Management

Let us help the customers at least sometimes. Let us give them the right support link, not the broken one. I feel sorry working for a scam company

I have been working at TrialPay full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people. Some of the best I've had the pleasure of working with. Super flexible. Allowed me to be a great mom and great employee simultaneously.

    Cons

Leadership over the past 18 months has been lacking. It has a reputation for being a boys club and while I disagree to some extent, I look at the board and the exec team and it is all men.

    Advice to Management

Get back in the habit of recognizing great work. In the last two years, I cannot think of one time someone told me "nice work." I don't get much out of that type of recognition, but others do! Get rid of folks at the top who have been ineffective. No reason to keep them around. Sometimes, the best thing you can do to get your energy back is to clean house. Sad, but true!! I'm not talking about cleaning house at the lower levels. I'm talking senior executives.

    Pros

Young and fun company making a real impact in the social media space. Lots of freedom to define your own job. Very smart people who come from great universities. Challenging, yet rewarding, work. Super positive energy in the company. Rewards risk-taking.

    Cons

Very fast-paced. Sometimes long hours. Since it is still in start-up mode, it is not always clear what the direction is, but it is still always forward.

    Pros

great people, brilliant idea, fun perks

    Cons

not much of a career path

    Advice to Management

promote from within, add a female exec to end the "old boys' network" perception

    Pros

The team here is super smart, and we have thoroughly beaten our competition by building better products and with better strategy. Motivated people can really get stuff done and WILL be rewarded (I've been promoted several times). Just a fun place to work and have an outsize impact.

    Cons

It's a startup so you're not going to find the same kind of "structure" as at a bigger company like Google, nor are you going to find the same benefits (boo hoo, no on-site massage) because the company doesn't make $10B in profit per year.

    Advice to Management

Don't tolerate bottom performers. 90% of the team is outstanding, tired of hearing the bottom 10% complain about not being recognized!

    Pros

Smart team, good management and a clean and professional environment make TrialPay an ideal place to work and enjoy your life.

    Cons

They don't concentrate too much on architecture as they need to rapidly move product. This is fine, but it doesn't give you much chance to explore and grow technically.

    Advice to Management

Find out what your employees enjoy doing most, see if you can have them do that most of the time and hire people for the roles they left open.
