I have been working at Which Wich full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have nothing positive to say about working with this small business owner.

    Cons

Condescending communication from owner, who micromanaged every aspect of the store, poorly. Terrible pay with no advancement opportunities. Utilized unethical approach to business and food safety.

    Advice to Management

This independent franchise owner was not vetted properly, and maintains a terrible store, especially compared to other locations. Choose your owners more wisely, or your name will go downhill.

I worked at Which Wich full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Food was customizable and good. They have clean veggies unlike other sandwich places and there is hot and cold sandwiches.

    Cons

Unorganized management for shift scheduling of team members. There is also a lack for too few of people with knowledge of preparing food, procedures of making the sandwiches and cross contamination. Training quizzes online can be difficult compared to other places. It does not completely show if a quiz is completed or not.

    Advice to Management

Hire someone that takes responsibility and respects their team members while providing leadership to others.

I worked at Which Wich part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I can't think of any good reason to work here.

    Cons

The owner is nasty, obnoxious and in general is hard to get along with; in addition, this job only pays minimum wage. I worked there for two weeks before I was fired- apparently, at the restaurant that I worked at, if you're not performing perfectly within two weeks, they fire you. Since I worked there, I've heard about several other people who have had the exact same experience.

    Advice to Management

Give workers longer than two weeks to improve on things.

I have been working at Which Wich part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly environment, best boss ever, understanding about having a prior engagement each Wednesday, easy job to learn and the guests have always been really nice

    Cons

Pay and hours are meant for people still in high school or who are in college and just need a job for gas and a little spending money. Not for someone who has living expenses like rent and power bills and such

I worked at Which Wich full-time

    Pros

Able to set yourself schedules. The work overall is very simple and easy to understand.

    Cons

Bad ownership. Owner has very poor communication skills with his manager. Unable to maintain inventory due to ownership. Hard to enroll and maintain good employees. Most employees do not last due to lack of ownership, impossible to please customers, and long work hours due to terrible employees.

    Advice to Management

For the owners to consistently listen to the managers and to show presence and bring product that the manager cannot order. New managers need to tread carefully with owners and meeting their standards and satisfying customers and employees. If not your paid a fair amount it isn't worth your time or energy.
