We’re proud to announce that we’re partnering with Employ Prince George's, Inc. to launch the Access 2 Education Scholarship Fund to help provide access to high-quality tech training programs for residents of Prince George’s County. Recipients, who will be from groups underrepresented in the tech industry, will have the opportunity to enroll in 2U-powered tech boot camps through a partnership with the George Washington University College of Professional Studies.

Today, we released our first-ever Transparency Report, following through on a commitment we made in 2019. We believe greater transparency about quality and outcomes in online education matters. Our report will provide students and other stakeholders with important information about our partnerships with non-profit universities and the outcomes we deliver together. Key highlights from the report include graduation & completion rates, student diversity stats, & quality metrics. Over the past 12 years, we’ve invested $1.3B in our partners’ degree programs & $19.5M in scholarships & fellowships in 2019.
We're excited to share that we will deliver an expanded portfolio of 10 new professional online short courses developed by the Stanford Center for Health Education. The courses will be available to learners through GetSmarter, a brand of 2U.
To support social work students who need clinical experience to graduate, we developed Virtual Field Experiences. These dynamic, interactive online modules are designed to replace the 1st year of field placement for social work programs.
