"As individuals, we have unique strengths that we can use to support one another. This Black History Month, let's take a moment to appreciate the power of allyship and that it can come in many forms. Whether it's lending a hand, leveraging a skill, amplifying words or taking action, we can all contribute in our own way," shares associate Jen, Operations Executive of Programs & Communications in ADP Augusta, Ga. "I'm grateful for people like Lyn, an ADP Learning Consultant and Augusta's Chapter President of Cultivate, an ADP Business Resource Group, who entrusted me to leverage one of my strengths and draw something associates could enjoy all month. It was an honor (and super fun)."
ADP proudly celebrates Black History Month, a time to honor the history, recognize the accomplishments, and uplift the voices of our Black associates, clients and community.
Natalia R., an ADP Payroll Advisor, has always been a showstopper. From a young age, her Panamanian and Puerto Rican roots have inspired her to express herself through the arts, which may soon lead her to music’s biggest stage: the 66th Annual #Grammy Awards. When she began her musical journey, she was simply looking to create, find artistic passion and incorporate her culture as Panamanian and Puerto Rican into this art. Her music journey quickly blossomed and just three years later, she is producing music in various genres and was accepted into the 2023 New Member Class of the Recording Academy, known for its annual Grammy Awards. Acceptance into the Recording Academy requires industry references and proof of expertise in the artist’s genre. The process is community-driven and peer-reviewed, with some of music’s biggest names weighing in on the process. As a member of the Recording Academy, Natalia can submit her work, under her stage name, Nat, for Grammy consideration. Natalia is currently awaiting the results of her submission for 2024. Natalia is also developing her career at #ADP. Passion, time management and support have given Natalia the ability to balance her careers so that she can be successful and fulfilled in both avenues. “ADP’s culture of support has been influential in [balancing my passions]. ADP encourages all associates to bring their whole selves to work, and I’ve found so much support for my musical career from my coworkers.” - Natalia.

Meet Sallie, Director of Client Success Management, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sallie says, "ADP has given me the opportunity to be at my best as a leader who seeks to energize others and support the Client Success Management organization through strategic initiatives. In my six years at ADP, I have flourished in my roles based on the freedom ADP gives me to be creative. This freedom has been a surprising and rewarding opportunity working for a global corporation. I feel supported in my creative approach to leading my team, designing client-facing materials, and developing knowledge-sharing sessions. One of my favorite things about working at ADP is the collaborative nature of my internal partners across various functional teams. Our partnerships flourish because we are all invested in our clients' success.” Sallie adds, "But my number one reason for loving my job is my team of Client Success Executives. They are incredible people with a wide array of strengths, true compassion for their teammates, and unwavering dedication to their clients.“ Are you ready to make your mark while developing your strengths in a friendly, inclusive workplace? “I started my ADP journey many moons ago,” says Kam G., Regional Project Coordinator at ADP. “How many moons is not important,” he continues, “but let’s just say our main program was DOS-based. Yep, DOS. When I accepted ADP’s offer, it was all about the opportunities. It was about the potential to make more money, it was about the potential for growth as a person, and it was about the potential for career growth as well. Let’s be honest. Those are things that you can get pretty much anywhere.” “Why am I STILL here all of these moons later?,” he asks. “It’s easily stated: The People. I’ve met so many amazing individuals that have played an integral part of my personal and professional growth and have influenced my career in so many ways. I am now at a point where I’d like to consider myself an influencer of sorts as well and I am excited to pay it all forward. Here’s to another ‘many moons!

Meet Matthew, US Army Reservist & Product Manager for ADP’s newest product, BrightJump, an outplacement service geared toward helping people find jobs! We asked Matthew why companies should hire Veterans and Reservists, and he said, “Beyond knowing what it means to work as a team, Veterans and Reservists bring different skills to the workplace. More military jobs are becoming specialized, especially as cyber warfare grows and military equipment becomes more sophisticated. Soldiers are getting certified in highly technical jobs and real-world field training that impacts lives. Companies that hire service members and Veterans get access to these skills almost immediately.” He also shared the advice for other service members, "Accept new challenges and take the opportunities to grow. ADP gives me many opportunities to learn new roles, work with different teams, and take on new challenges. There are many transferable skills with a military background that will aid your success in any job - teamwork stands out the most! My team at ADP works fast, and we are a tight team. The skills you learn when completing missions are similar to working on projects.” Thank you, Matthew, for your service! #WeHireHeroes #ADPTech #ADPLife
